At low tide, most beaches in Tofino open up into long stretches of firm sand, making them ideal for biking. You’re not stuck in one spot you can ride, stop, explore, and take it all in as you go.
Chesterman Beach is one of the best options. It’s long, flat, and easy to ride, which makes it perfect if you want a more relaxed experience without worrying about terrain.
This isn’t about posing. It’s about doing something together.
Ride along the shoreline, talk, stop when the light hits right, or when you find a quiet stretch of beach. The photos come from what’s already happening, not from forcing anything.
Low tide is key for a Tofino beach bike session. It gives you more space and better riding conditions.
Evenings are ideal for softer light, but overcast days work just as well and fit the west coast feel.
Wear something you can move in and bring a warm layer. That’s really it.
The goal is to enjoy your time together. The photos are just a bonus.
Vancouver Island is one of those places that doesn’t need much added to it. The landscape does the heavy lifting, you just get to show up and experience it.

Documenting unfiltered joy
Whether you're exchanging vows on a windswept coastline, in the heart of the mountains, across the wide-open prairies, or gathered indoors with your favourite people — you deserve photos that truly reflect your connection and the feeling of the day.
My vibe is: cozy coffee shops & golden-hour road trips, sunsets over the mountains & misty coastlines, meditation walks in nature, campfires with friends and deep soul-filling conversations.
Born and raised in the prairies, I’m a wedding, elopement & lifestyle photographer with a passion for storytelling. With over 100 weddings & elopements photographed, I take a photojournalistic approach—capturing real moments, genuine connections, and the details that make your story unique. I am adventure ready & I spend much of my time on the road travelling across Saskatchewan, Banff National Park, Vancouver Island, and beyond. My love for film photography influences my work, bringing a timeless, artistic feel to every image.
To sum it up I am an intuitive storyteller with a deep curiosity for the world. Think of me as your photographer, guide, & creative collaborator.
