Weddings

2020 proved that small can still be beautiful when it comes to . It may not have been the day they originally planned but after a few cancelled attempts these two decided a smaller more intimate wedding day was just what they needed all along.

Below are 4 reasons why a smaller wedding or elopement might actually be awesome… even if it is not what you initially planned.

1 – Elopements are about being authentic to who you are as a couple & you get to spend the whole day with your favourite person & partner in a much more intimate setting.

2 – It’s easier to bring that vision to life when it’s on a smaller scale. Not having to skimp on the details due to budget or time constraints means your wedding may actually turn out like that secret Pinterest board you’ve been obsessing over since before you got engaged. (I see you, everyone does it.)

3 – You will have more freedom with your itinerary & unique locations inaccessible to larger weddings will be open to you.

4 – Better photo opportunities – If you want sunrise or sunset photos at a unique or fun location that means something to the two of you… you can do it.

Don’t forget however the most important thing about planning your elopement or micro wedding… You are getting married because you love each other, because you’re choosing each other—because you know that life is the biggest adventure of all, and there’s no one else you’d rather have by your side.

What would honour your essence the MOST if you are planning a micro wedding or elopement? What would the best day look like for you?

Documenting unfiltered joy

Whether you're exchanging vows on a windswept coastline, in the heart of the mountains, across the wide-open prairies, or gathered indoors with your favourite people — you deserve photos that truly reflect your connection and the feeling of the day.

"For me, the camera is a sketchbook, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity."

Words I Live by

Let's Connect

My vibe is: cozy coffee shops & golden-hour road trips, sunsets over the mountains & misty coastlines, meditation walks in nature, campfires with friends and deep soul-filling conversations.

Born and raised in the prairies, I’m a wedding, elopement & lifestyle photographer with a passion for storytelling. With over 100 weddings & elopements photographed, I take a photojournalistic approach—capturing real moments, genuine connections, and the details that make your story unique. I am adventure ready & I spend much of my time on the road travelling across Saskatchewan, Banff National Park, Vancouver Island, and beyond. My love for film photography influences my work, bringing a timeless, artistic feel to every image.

To sum it up I am an intuitive storyteller with a deep curiosity for the world. Think of me as your photographer, guide, & creative collaborator.

I'm Sarah.
