This Mount Norquay Lookout elopement was a stunning start to the day. As a Banff elopement photographer, I loved capturing every moment of Nicole and Christian’s intimate mountain elopement. I picked up the bride, Nicole, in the town of Banff after she had been pampered by the talented MUA Priya with Beautymark Makeovers. The morning was calm and joyful. It was the perfect start to an intimate elopement in the Canadian Rockies.
Next, we drove up to Mount Norquay Lookout. There, we met Christian for their first look just as the sun rose over the horizon. The early morning light bathed the mountains in warm tones. Their first look was full of emotion, laughter, and a few happy tears. It was one of my favorite moments to photograph on a Mount Norquay Lookout elopement.
After the first look, their ceremony began with Pastor Rick. They had the entire mountain to themselves, which made the moment even more special. Not a single soul was in sight. Nicole and Christian fully soaked in the experience. Their ceremony was heartfelt and personal, a true reflection of their love.
After the ceremony, we explored Banff National Park. We stopped wherever Nicole and Christian wanted to enjoy the view. Mid-October brought vibrant fall colours and warm weather. Every photo captured the couple’s genuine connection against the breathtaking Banff landscape.

I don’t even have the words to describe how amazing Sarah is! I hired her as my wedding photographer and planner, and I can honestly say that, aside from writing my vows, my wedding was completely stress free.
She organized everything: hair, makeup, officiant, and flowers. All I had to do was show up. She even helped me zip up my dress and was one of my witnesses as we eloped in Banff with no friends or family, so she was kind of my bridesmaid as well.
Sarah made us feel extremely comfortable. We’ve never had professional photos taken, so I was worried the poses might look awkward, but they all felt natural and we both cried when she sent us the sneak peek photos that same night. She picked all the perfect locations for photos with different scenery, even some I would have never thought would look as amazing as they do in the photos.
